just wanted to let you know we have made another update to the site. we have been playing with live streaming via ustream and recently added the “live” button to our dashboard which brings you to a custom stream page on our site!

we will be utilizing this feature with andrew living in the Dominican Republic during the winter.

Agreed–the Web 2.0 efforts are completely ineffective if you don’t have the long term vision.

You should check out the way the band has updated their website since I posted this–they have connected a lot of the dots and continue to impress me with their vision.

Nice article Jared. I actually came across your article from your comment in ProBlogger. I guess that just proves the effectiveness of a strong Web 2.0 campaign.

Its hard for musicians to understand the importance of avoiding “ineffective calls to action”. I am an independent musician and blogger as well and its always important to keep up on your Web 2.0 campaign while the music industry changes by the minute. Focus on long term success.
